In-Context, On Demand Training Content can Benefit SharePoint Administrators, Developers, Architects and Even Stakeholders

SharePoint-Videos.com offers an extensive set of video training content on specific SharePoint computing components. We also offer specialized training on popular objectives for SharePoint computing, including Business Intelligence, and charting. A full list of our specialized training content for SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013, and Online can be found on our SharePoint Corporate DVD Packages web page.

While it may make sense to provision the same type of repeatable, training content nested within a SharePoint work environment to end users several months post SharePoint implementatiuon, it actually can make sense to add these resources for administrators, developers, designers, architects and the stakeholders commissioning the projects immediately after SharePoint has been implemented, and prior to full implementation of all planned features. Our VisualSP Help System provides a method of actually exposing all of this specialized training content directly to these users from the SharePoint ribbon.

If, for example, a community of SharePoint users envisions an important role for no-code, workflow solutions once a SharePoint 2013 implementation has been completed, it makes sense to provide the above mentioned users with the training content they need to successfully build the required workflows. The same approach will also benefit personnel tasked with branding the look and feel of SharePoint to best reflect the unique character of the community, etc.

Providing this class of SharePoint users with higher level training content can also diminish staff turnover and contribute, broadly, to higher team morale. Why change jobs when your current job is training you to successfully build high demand features within an overall implementation of SharePoint?

Lower staff turnover, together with a much more subdued reliance on outside expertise, of course, contributes to a higher return on investment, as well. A one time acquisition cost of approximately $100 per administrator, for a community of 20 SharePoint administrators, is a comparative bargain when compared to the cost of filling a staff vacancy, or hiring outside consultants to get the job done.
